We’re looking for an experienced and hospitality-driven Banquet Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Banquet Department and create exceptional experiences for our guests. Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Banquet Department, including scheduling, team member relations, payroll, inventory, linen control, vendor coordination, and the overall guest experience.
- Partner with Sales & Marketing and Culinary to review upcoming events and ensure staffing, room setups, equipment, linens, and other event needs are planned and ready for successful execution.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop a talented and motivated banquet team.
- Create and maintain an effective training program that equips team members with the knowledge, skills, and service standards needed to succeed.
- Lead, coach, and support banquet team members and Captains, providing clear direction, feedback, and follow-through.
- Organize and lead events from preparation through breakdown, ensuring the team is prepared and every detail is executed to our standards.
- Oversee room setups, event turns, breakdowns, food and beverage service, and bar operations while ensuring proper handling and storage of equipment.
- Build positive relationships with guests, team members, vendors, and other departments through clear, responsive, and professional communication.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback, concerns, and challenges with thoughtful solutions and appropriate follow-through.
- Manage daily labor and expenses with a strong understanding of the department’s P&L, budget, and overall business goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve departmental processes and work closely with the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to implement solutions that enhance both the guest experience and operational performance.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment while consistently modeling the company’s standards and values.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Range (Salaried): $75,000 – $80,000 per year

- At least 2 years of Banquet Management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
- Proven leadership qualities with effective coaching skills to motivate & develop team members
- Solid food and wine knowledge
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
- Proficient in computer systems used in administrative tasks
- Accounting and budgeting knowledge
- Has strong organization skills and is effective at working multiple priorities
