The Production Operator I will aid in the manufacturing of goods in an assembly line. The responsibilities of Production Operator I includes assembling items, packaging items or storing items. Performs quality checks. This person will also clean and maintain production equipment and area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Assist in operating automated and semi-automated manufacturing and packaging equipment.
· Feed materials into production machinery
· Perform filling, capping, labeling, coding, bundling, case packing, palletizing, and related production tasks.
· Inspect products and packaging for quality defects and report concerns immediately.
· Verify labels, lot numbers, packaging materials, and product components before use.
· Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
· Assist with equipment setup, line clearance, product changeovers, and shutdown activities.
· Work effectively with Production Operators, Team Leads, Supervisors, Quality, and Maintenance personnel.
· Clean production equipment, workstations and surrounding work areas.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
- 6mo+ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Read, write and communicate in English
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Temperature in the warehouse can vary to summer and winter temperatures
- Must be able to stand on your feet for 95% of shift
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Must be able to bend and the knees and waist
- Must be able to twist at torso
- Must have good range of motion in arms
Must be available to work either Monday -Thursday 6:30am-5pm or Wednesday-Saturday 6:30am-5pm
