POSITION SUMMARY
The National Business Consultant is accountable for developing, managing, and advancing a healthy sales funnel, including prospecting, opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting to ensure a consistent flow of business. This position carries responsibility for achieving and exceeding assigned sales quotas and revenue objectives through effective territory planning, relationship development, consultative selling, and disciplined execution of sales strategies. Success in this role is measured by pipeline growth, sales activity, quota attainment, new client acquisition, and overall contribution to Navari's revenue goals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas, revenue targets, activity metrics, and key performance indicators established by leadership.
- Generate new sales opportunities across all Navari business units from assigned credit unions, leagues, referral partners, and existing client relationships.
- Lead opportunities through the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing activities.
- Collaborate with Solutions Specialists and subject matter experts to deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and business cases that address client needs and drive decision-making.
- Coordinate all functions related to establishing products at credit unions, including meeting with executive leadership, presenting solutions, facilitating implementations, and ensuring successful client adoption.
- Collaborate with Navari divisions to develop and implement field-driven retention and expansion strategies for existing clients approaching contract expiration, including conducting on-site business reviews and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates regarding pipeline health, territory activity, competitive intelligence, and revenue projections.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with credit union executives, league leadership, strategic partners, and key industry stakeholders to enhance Navari's market presence and brand reputation.
- Gather and communicate competitive market intelligence, industry trends, client feedback, and emerging opportunities to leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company sales processes, reporting requirements, travel policies, and CRM data standard

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field or relevant years of experience required.
- Experience: Minimum of three to five years of previous experience in outside sales required.
- Strong computer skills with work experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
- Prior experience selling SaaS, technology, or financial services solutions to credit unions or banks is highly preferred.
TRAVEL
- Position involves up to 50% of travel and involves extended periods requiring the ability to endure flights and time zone changes.
- Requires additional travel as needed to support company events and conferences.
