AAA USA is seeking an experienced and dependable Material Handler to support a major aerospace program in Columbus, MS. The Material Handler will support production and maintenance operations by accurately receiving, storing, picking, staging, packing, and distributing aircraft parts, tools, and materials.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Experience with SAP and warehouse scanning systems is preferred.

Essential Functions
- Receive vendor purchase orders and verify that the number of cartons received matches the Airway Bill, Bill of Lading, or other shipping documentation.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and identify discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.
- Pick delivery notes according to established priorities using a handheld scanner.
- Process material movements accurately in accordance with warehouse procedures.
- Stock aircraft parts, materials, and supplies in designated warehouse locations using a handheld scanner.
- Ensure inventory is properly identified, labeled, stored, and organized.
- Pick and stage materials for production and maintenance operations.
- Pack shipments both physically and systematically according to established warehouse procedures.
- Process shipments in SAP according to required priorities and procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material transaction records.
- Communicate material shortages, discrepancies, damaged items, and other issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all applicable safety, quality, warehouse, and aerospace procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other material-handling and warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of warehouse, material handling, logistics, or inventory experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, or industrial environment is preferred.
- Experience with SAP is desirable but not required.
- Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret shipping documents, purchase orders, labels, and other warehouse documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to safely handle, move, and stage materials as required for the position.
- Must be dependable and committed to following established procedures and safety requirements.
