Director, Marketing Operations and Analytics

Position Summary
The Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics leads Studio IV as the technical and intelligence backbone of the marketing department. This role owns NAC's full martech stack, headless CRM architecture, website technical infrastructure, GEO and AI readiness strategy, campaign analytics program and the long term development of a headless organization that progressively automates marketing operations and extends into NAC's broader corporate overhead functions. The director does not produce campaigns or pursue clients. This role makes everything the other studios do measurably more effective over time.
Core Responsibilities
• Martech Stack Development and Maintenance: Owns, builds and maintains the full marketing technology stack including headless CRM architecture, Microsoft environment integrations, OpenAsset, Sprout Social, email marketing platform, project management tooling and all future martech. Evaluates and implements all technology decisions in alignment with the CMO.
• Website Technical Infrastructure: Owns the website as a technical and data asset. CMS architecture, technical SEO, performance monitoring, accessibility compliance and all agency or developer relationships. Studio II owns what goes on the website. Studio IV owns how it works, how it performs and how it ranks.
• GEO Strategy and AI Readiness: Develops and maintains NAC's generative engine optimization strategy. Monitors how NAC appears in AI generated answers, advises Studio II on AI appropriate content structures and builds the technical infrastructure that positions NAC as an authoritative source in AEC relevant AI environments.
• Data Collection and Campaign Intelligence: Collects and analyzes performance data across all Studio II channels. Builds structured reporting frameworks and returns detailed campaign analytics to Studio II. Aggregates market and client data from Studio III into intelligence dashboards for the CMO and studio leaders.
• Headless Organization Development: Leads the long term development of marketing department automation and the extension of that intelligence into NAC's corporate overhead functions including HR, finance, IT and operations. Builds AI agents, automated workflows and system integrations that reduce manual work across the firm.
• Client Experience Infrastructure: In coordination with Studio III and project management, owns the technical infrastructure for NAC's client satisfaction and feedback program. Deploys and manages client feedback surveys at project milestones and structures data into actionable intelligence for Studio III and Studio II.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, information systems, business, computer science or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. In lieu of degree, 10 or more years of directly relevant martech and marketing operations experience will be considered.
• 8 or more years of experience in marketing operations,CRM development, martech strategy or digital marketing technology with demonstrated ownership of full marketing technology stacks.
• Proven experience with CRM architecture, API integration, headless CMS and marketing automation platforms. Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce or equivalent enterprise CRM experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with SEO, GEO strategy and website performance management. Working knowledge of AI driven content optimization and generative engine environments. Software knowledge of PEEC AI.
• Data literacy and analytics platform experience required. Ability to build reporting frameworks, translate performance data into strategic recommendations and work with studio leaders on continuous improvement.
• Forward orientation toward AI, automation and the evolution of marketing technology. This is not a maintenance role. It is a build role.
