Description

Position Summary

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is a dynamic, hands-on role designed for a collaborative problem-solver ready to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. This position is responsible for independently designing, building, and maintaining automated Tableau dashboards to deliver accurate, high-impact business metrics while translating complex datasets into actionable financial projections and statistical models. Acting as a crucial bridge between data and strategy, this position will collaborate cross-functionally to identify business anomalies, safeguard compliance protocols (including PHI/ePHI data privacy), and communicate key insights directly to senior leadership through polished, professional presentations. 


Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive efficiency by independently designing, creating, and maintaining dashboards in Tableau to track required metrics that update automatically.
  • Ensure all reports or dashboards are running efficiently and are reporting accurately.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to collect and analyze complex levels of data and business needs.
  • Propose recommendations to help drive business objectives and identify financial, market, and business implications from strategic opportunities.
  • Using available tools to seek out patterns and business anomalies to enhance the company’s understanding of the business and its customers. 
  • Create and assess financial projections, and statistical models.
  • Effectively communicate analysis and results in written or verbal form to all levels of leadership, adjusting technical language based on the audience, including PowerPoint presentations to senior management.
  • Embodies the Company’s purpose operating principles, building a positive and productive team culture.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Authorized to access employee and/or patient PHI and ePHI only as needed for job-related functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience with analytical, financial, or strategic analysis required.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to explain results effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau online and desktop is required.
  • Experience in healthcare market model building is a plus.
  • Experience with writing and deploying Python is a plus. 
  • Experience with Azure analytics tooling (data factory, azure functions, logic apps) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or another related field.
  • Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce integration is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on employee with the ability to function well in a start-up environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule. 
  • Able to travel for work as needed.
  • Satisfactorily pass comprehensive background screening. 

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

  • Typical work environment for a professional office or home office space.
  • Largely a stationary role with some moving from place to place.
  • Constant use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor and other office equipment.
  • Occasionally picks up, carries, and moves items up to 30 lbs.
  • Some evening and weekend work depending upon workload.
  • Some overnight travel may be required for work, events, and training.
