Packager
Description

 A Packager at Jonathan Louis plays a key role in getting furniture ready for shipment, ensuring every product is packaged according to company standards to arrive safely and in top condition. 

  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, move, and reposition furniture and components weighing up to 75 pounds, including cushions, pillows, legs, and hardware.
  • Frequent bending, turning, twisting, and reaching required to inspect, position, and pack furniture items of varying sizes and shapes.
  • Ability to push, pull, and maneuver furniture pieces and packaging materials across the production floor as part of staging and shipment preparation.
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, and repetitive hand and arm motion while wrapping, bagging, taping, and boxing finished products.
  • Physical stamina and coordination to safely handle bulky, awkwardly shaped items in a fast-paced production and packaging environment.
Requirements
  •  Basic computer or handheld scanner skills for tracking work orders, labels, and shipping documentation (if applicable).
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods throughout a shift.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and move furniture and components weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to follow all safety, housekeeping, and company procedures.
