As a member of the Motor City Cruise Game Night Entertainment Staff, you will help execute the in-arena entertainment experience during home games and events. This hands-on, fan-facing position supports contests, promotions, performances, mascot appearances, and other elements of the game-day presentation.
This is a part-time, event-based position that requires availability for most Motor City Cruise home games and events, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the preparation and execution of on-court games, contests, promotions, and fan activations.
- Assist with selecting, organizing, and preparing audience members to participate in contests and other in-game activities.
- Assist the Lead Stage Manager with coordinating live entertainment elements during pregame, halftime, timeouts, and other game breaks.
- Engage enthusiastically with fans and help create an exciting, welcoming, and memorable game-day environment.
- Serve as a positive brand ambassador for the Motor City Cruise and Detroit Pistons during games, events, and community appearances.
- Welcome, escort, and coordinate game entertainment performers, including national anthem performers, DJs, in-arena hosts, mascots, and special guests.
- Prepare and distribute giveaways, promotional materials, and prizes during games.
- Support in-stand promotions and other fan engagement activities throughout the arena.
- Assist the in-arena host and mascot with scheduled appearances, promotions, and game-day responsibilities.
- Communicate closely with the Game Director/Show Caller, Lead Stage Manager, Game Entertainment staff, camera operators, hosts, and other members of the live production team.
- Assist with additional game-day duties and special projects as assigned.

- Dependability and the ability to arrive on time and prepared for scheduled games and events.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy live-event environment.

- Previous experience in live events, entertainment, promotions, hospitality, customer service, athletics, or a related environment preferred but not required.
- Availability to work most Motor City Cruise home games and events, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended event hours.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain standing and walking for the duration of a scheduled shift.
- Ability to move throughout the arena quickly and safely during live events.
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, push, pull, and perform other movements associated with game-day activities.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in an environment with loud music, crowd noise, flashing lights, and changing production conditions.
