As a residential house manager, you will oversee daily operations of a residential home
for individuals with disabilities, ensuring a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
You will provide staff guidance, support residents’ independence and well-being, and
coordinate care, routines, and services. This includes building rapport with each
individual, taking them to doctor’s appointments, implementing their support plans, and
overseeing staff to ensure we are providing the best possible care to individuals in our
services.
Job Tasks:
? Execute daily activities with the individuals at home and/ or in the community.
? Supporting individuals with their goals to improve their knowledge, skills, and
abilities.
? Provide proper supervision to individuals to ensure their health, safety, and
well-being.
? Assist in medications to individuals according to the medication administration
record. (MAR)
? Assist individuals with meal planning, preparation, and daily documentation.
? Driving individuals to/from appointments.
? Overseeing staff and ensuring they receive the necessary training.
? Ensure the individuals medical and financial needs are met.
? Conduct house meetings and attend manager meetings.
Requirements:
? Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Utah Drivers License and a clean
driving record
? Must be able to pass a background check
? Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
? Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact
with participants, families and other staff members
? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
? Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
