About the Role

We are seeking a Public Health Informatics Analyst to support our federal client. The analyst will coordinate facility outreach and national survey activities, provide technical assistance, manage and analyze survey and inventory data, produce reports and visualizations, and maintain survey databases.

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be based and reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and administer national survey activities, including facility outreach; planning, launch, technical-assistance, and closeout meetings; collection methods and schedules; information packets; participation monitoring; non-response follow-up; and resolution of outstanding inventory, disposition, and destruction documentation.
  • Identify and manage survey participants by querying and validating source data, preparing launch files, generating REDCap identifiers, maintaining distribution and contact records, configuring facility-specific invitations and approved HTML, and issuing reminders and weekly status reports.
  • Provide responsive technical assistance through email, telephone, web portals, webinars, and virtual meetings; triage the NAC shared mailbox; and create FAQs, guides, one-pagers, presentations, training materials, videos, social media content, reports, and customer-feedback products.
  • Manage survey and inventory data across REDCap, SQL, Microsoft Access, Excel, and related NAC systems, including entry, validation, correction, linking, tagging, record creation, change and communication logs, audit documentation, records management, system troubleshooting, integration, optimization, approved platform transitions, and coordination with developers to resolve duplication and data-flow issues.
  • Clean, audit, analyze, and safeguard survey data; identify missing, duplicate, inconsistent, out-of-range, or illogical values; maintain error, correction, and quality-tracking reports; and analyze participation, non-response, facility characteristics, trends, projections, potential bias, and containment performance.
  • Prepare facility, post-launch, monthly, annual, and national containment reports, dashboards, tables, presentations, and other analytical products, ensuring accurate data representation and obtaining required NAC approval before external analyses, reports, manuscripts, abstracts, or press materials are developed.
  • Use SAS, R, Power BI, SQL, and other approved tools to transform multi-format data, build analysis-ready datasets, maintain dashboards, develop visualizations, maps, methodologies, performance measures, and trend analyses, and automate technical-assistance, data-processing, and reporting workflows.
  • Apply the NAC Quality Management System; conduct quality reviews; maintain SOPs, guidance, and process documentation; identify corrective, preventive, and continuous-improvement opportunities; develop annual survey and non-response plans; document sampling, clearance, training, privacy, processing, reporting, and timelines; collaborate with CDC staff, facilities, developers, and multidisciplinary groups on data gaps, harmonization, and mobile collection needs; and support authorized meetings, site visits, trainings, scientific products, and dissemination activities
