The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for an insurance-obsessed professional to join our Personal Lines team as an Account Manager.


How you will make an impact at TPG

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll serve as a trusted resource for clients navigating their personal insurance needs, helping ensure they have the right coverage to protect what matters most. You'll build lasting client relationships, provide thoughtful guidance on coverage options, and deliver the responsive service that helps distinguish TPG in a competitive market. By managing policy changes, renewals, and day-to-day account servicing with accuracy and care, you'll contribute directly to client retention, satisfaction, and long-term growth.

A typical day in this role

  • Manage a book of Personal Lines client accounts
  • Review coverage and identify potential gaps and exposures
  • Process renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
  • Partner with carrier representatives to support client needs
  • Respond promptly to client questions and service requests
  • Maintain accurate account records and documentation


Key details

Title: Account Manager

Location: Renton, WA or Portland, OR preferred; in-office with hybrid remote opportunities. Open to considering fully remote for highly qualified individuals residing in Pacific, Arizona, or Mountain time zones.

Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Compensation: $60,000-70,000 annually, exempt (DOE) 

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.

Travel: Minimal, if any

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table 

  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license
  • 5+ years of Account Manager experience in insurance
  • Strong knowledge of Personal Lines coverages and policies
  • Ability to build trusted client and carrier relationships
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities


What will make you really stand out

  • Independent agency experience
  • Experience serving high-net-worth clients’ insurance needs
  • Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management systems
  • A consultative approach to coverage reviews and client service
  • Industry designation(s) or ongoing professional development
