We are seeking an Engineer to support ongoing manufacturing improvement, process development, and engineering initiatives. This position will apply engineering principles, analytical skills, and problem-solving to improve existing manufacturing processes, develop new processes and infrastructure, and support company priorities.

The Engineer will work closely with Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control teams to identify opportunities for improvement, evaluate and implement engineering solutions, analyze results, and support projects from development through implementation.

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment while maintaining compliance with established SOPs, cGMP standards, and applicable quality requirements.

The Engineer supports engineering and manufacturing initiatives that improve process performance, product quality, equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and manufacturing capabilities.

Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams, the Engineer will participate in process development, engineering projects, testing, troubleshooting, data analysis, technical documentation, and implementation of process improvements.

This position provides the opportunity to work on projects that directly support manufacturing operations while developing experience in engineering design, process improvement, quality systems, and regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Includes, but not limited to:

• Perform engineering activities and assigned project work.
• Support engineering projects from initial evaluation and development through testing, implementation, and follow-up.
• Verify and test project metrics, document test results, analyze data, and prepare technical summary reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, processes, quality, efficiency, equipment performance, and manufacturing operations.
• Assist with the development, evaluation, testing, and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing processes, equipment, products, and production performance. 
• Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control to evaluate and resolve technical and process-related issues.
• Develop, revise, and maintain accurate engineering documentation, including procedures, forms, work instructions, specifications, reports, and other technical documents.
• Assist Facilities and Operations teams in developing and implementing methods that improve product quality, process performance, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Support prototyping and development of production modules, equipment, fixtures, tooling, and other process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with applicable SOPs, cGMP requirements, company quality systems, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other engineering and related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two (2) to five (5) years professional engineering experience in manufacturing, production, process development, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with process improvement, troubleshooting, testing, data analysis, and technical documentation.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated environment is preferred.
• Experience with engineering project execution and cross-functional collaboration preferred.
• Experience with equipment, process, or facility improvement projects is a plus.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant engineering experience may be considered where appropriate.

• Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment using a structured problem-solving approach.
• Working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements, including cGMP and ISO 9000, preferred.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control teams.
• Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate technical data.
• Strong project organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, procedures, work instructions, and other engineering documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD/CAD software preferred.

· Consistent weekday schedule.

· Specific schedule may vary and is subject to change based on business needs.

· $72,000 - $84,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
