Climatech is an industry leader in custom manufacturing of plastic extrusion profiles and fabricated die-cut components.

 

Position Summary: Ensure product compliance with customer specific requirements and engineering specifications while maintaining accountability to Climatech’s quality system.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to maintain accountability to the quality plans, controls and methods.
  • Assist with maintaining quality control objectives and measures that align with corporate policies and goals.
  • Proactively identify potential shortfalls and coordinate with cross functional department teams on developing corrective measures.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs.
  • Oversee quality studies and testing properties.
  • Establish and maintain quality plans, controls, and methods for production and inspection personnel.
  • Flexibility of work schedule hours to accommodate support when needed.
  • Possesses the ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively under limited supervision.
  • Fulfill other job-related duties as assigned by leadership and as may be necessary to carry out the responsibility of this position.
  • Ensure that Climatech’s product consistently meets established quality standards.
  • Multi-tasking a must.
  • Able to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment, work under pressure and time deadlines.

Skills and Abilities:

- Experience of quality management systems.

- Bachelor degree in quality or engineering preferred-ASQ certification a plus

- Execute Statistical analysis and Technical Documentation

  • PPAP all levels
  • Process and or machine validation
  • Root cause analysis/Risk analysis
  • Inspection Procedures
  • Quality books and quality alerts

- Advanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Minitab, ERP Systems)

- Skilled at utilizing precision measuring instruments

  • Calipers
  • Micrometers
  • Digital Rulers
  • Optical Comparators
  • Coordinate Measuring Systems
  • Dedicated check fixtures
  • Manual Inspection set up

- Possesses strong math skills (including basic Trigonometry)

- Ability to comprehend and interpret written documentation and engineered drawings.

- Interpretation of various material data results to be used for process improvements. (Shrink Studies, Adhesion, Impact Testing)

- Ability to program and retrieve data on inspection measurement tools (Smart Scope, Keyence, CMM, Profile 360)
