At Cozzini Bros., we are on a mission to exponentially grow our market share nationwide. We are looking for an experienced and talented sales professional to generate national account opportunities, manage those opportunities through the sales funnel, and ultimately close new business.
The ideal candidate is a driven business development professional who excels at building relationships, developing a strong sales pipeline, and securing national and multi-location accounts.
Reports to the Vice President of Sales
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Achieves or exceeds the quarterly billed incremental revenue target of $212,500.
- Maintains a funnel total (defined as the sum of all qualified national account opportunities times the funnel stage) of $2,000,000 at all times.
- Coordinates implementation of national account wins and personally assists in the set up of local sites.
- Maintains all activities and funnel status in salesforce.com.
- Manage relationship and retention of new accounts until the 12-month mark when the account will transition to an Account Management resource.
- Achieves competency for Cozzini Bros. knife services, programs and sales items.
- Maintains compliance with Cozzini expense policies.
- Maintains Cozzini provided equipment in good working order.
- Adheres to the various policies outlined in Cozzini’s Employee Handbook and Fleet Safety Program.
- Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Competencies:
- Possesses four years of regional or national business development sales experience
- Demonstrates clear, effective, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates effective manager-level skills in all Microsoft Office applications
- Possesses post-secondary education in a business-related discipline (Diploma or Degree preferred)
- Responds promptly to internal and external requests for service and assistance
- Meets commitments and is punctual.
- Dresses professionally in compliance with Cozzini’s dress code policy
- Treats people with respect and contributes to building a positive team culture
- Works ethically and with integrity
- Requires minimal day-to-day instruction and oversight
- Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles
- Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment promptly
- Includes appropriate people in the decision-making process
- Follows instructions, responds to management direction
Physical and Visual Activities:
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Pass a pre-employment background check
- Pass pre-employment MVR and comply with the requirements of Cozzini’s Fleet Safety Program
- Must be available for extensive overnight and out-of-town travel
