Position Summary
The Senior Director of Family Services serves as the steward of the Family focus area within FIVE18. This role is responsible for designing, overseeing, and continuously improving the systems, coordination, and partnerships that ensure families experience FIVE18 as accessible, aligned, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and resilience-building. The Senior Director provides strategic leadership for the full Family Services infrastructure — including intake, engagement, service coordination, regulatory alignment, and internal systems integration — ensuring clarity, consistency, and fidelity to approved evidence-based models.
Leading through systems, managers, and cross-department collaboration, the Senior Director equips Family Services leadership to deliver high-quality programming aligned with FIVE18’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities. This position requires strong systems thinking and relational leadership, operationalizing organizational strategy through effective system design, measurable accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Family focus area encompasses both Family Care and Fatherhood initiatives. The Senior Director ensures that father engagement and father-inclusive practices are intentionally embedded across service design, intake pathways, engagement strategies, and organizational culture. This leader champions a father-friendly posture while thoughtfully balancing the roles and related needs of caregivers across diverse family systems, ensuring that programmatic decisions, infrastructure design, and strategic planning consistently reflect that integrated and equitable approach.
