Role Summary:

The Parts Runner is responsible for the timely and accurate transport of parts, materials, and documents between MVP's manufacturing facilities to support uninterrupted production and on-time delivery commitments. This role requires safe, dependable driving practices, careful handling of parts and materials to prevent damage or loss, and clear communication with warehouse and production teams at each location.

Responsibilities:

•  Safely operate a company vehicle to transport parts, tools, documents, and materials between MVP facilities on a scheduled or as-needed basis.
• Load, unload, and secure parts and materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Verify quantities and part numbers against packing slips, pick lists, or transfer documents prior to pickup and delivery.
• Communicate with warehouse, production, and shipping personnel at each location to coordinate pickup and delivery times.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain signatures or confirmations for completed deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks, staging materials, and other warehouse duties between runs as needed.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Report any delays, discrepancies, or damaged goods immediately to the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery-driving role preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and move parts and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in following schedules.
• Basic organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Frequent sitting while driving; frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching while loading/unloading.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for extended periods.
• Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions during loading/unloading and while traveling between sites.
