About the Role
Pinnacle Family Health is seeking a motivated Student Intern to join our Administration department. This internship offers hands-on exposure to Human Resources, Accounting, and Operations functions within a healthcare organization, with a particular focus on helping the team write, organize, and maintain internal policies and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to build practical administrative and business skills in a supportive, real-world environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting policies and procedures.
- Organize and maintain an accessible, well-structured policy and procedure library (digital and/or physical)
- Support the HR team with administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and document preparation
- Assist Accounting staff with basic clerical tasks, data entry, and organization of financial documents
- Support Operations staff with day-to-day administrative needs and special projects
- Proofread internal documents for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee, patient, and financial information
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proficient in English (written and verbal communication)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Prior office or administrative experience is a plus but not required
Salary Description
$15/per hour
