Position summary

The Production Worker – Sewing completes assigned sewing projects while meeting quality and production expectations. This position follows instructions, uses sewing equipment safely, and works with the team to complete customer orders.

Essential duties

• Operate sewing machines and other equipment after training. 
• Follow work instructions to assemble, sew, and finish products. 
• Check finished work for accuracy and quality. 
• Keep materials and the work area organized. 
• Report equipment problems or quality concerns to a supervisor. 
• Follow safety procedures and assist with other production tasks as needed. 

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and perform detailed, repetitive work. 
• Willingness to learn sewing equipment and techniques. 
• Ability to work independently and with a team. 
• Sewing experience is helpful but not required. 

Physical requirements 

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use hands to handle materials, and perform repetitive movements. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential duties.
