Job Description & Responsibilities:

Warehouses run on Oracle. Ours run better with RFgen on top of it. We connect Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud SCM to the warehouse floor — barcode scanning, mobile workflows, real-time data — and we do it without ripping out what already works.

We are looking for a Solution Architect who knows Oracle deeply — EBS, Cloud SCM, the integration layer, how things actually break in production — and who can translate that knowledge into solutions customers trust and sales teams can sell. This role sits between presales and delivery. You own the full arc: discovery, design, and making sure what gets built is what was promised. We are a small, focused team investing in AI tools and expanding into RFID and RTLS. If you want to help shape that, this is the right place.

The Role

Presales

o Work with Sales from first call to signed deal — qualify fit, run demos, own the estimate.

o Assist the Sales team in delivering tailored, high-impact product demonstrations showcasing RFgen’s mobile solutions.

o Spot expansion opportunities in existing Oracle accounts and bring them forward.

Solution Design

o Lead design sessions. Translate Oracle EBS and Cloud SCM requirements into mobile workflows using RFgen’s Mobile Edge Suite and with the assistance of AI, create design documents the implementation team can build from.

o Define the Oracle integration approach — REST APIs, SOAP, database adapters, middleware — and validate it before build begins.

o Design for the long term, not just the go-live date.

o Use the AI tools built in-house (technical specification agent, design document agent, design review automation etc). Adopt them, push them further.

o Flag risks early. Push back when something is wrong. The timeline does not override the solution.

o Contribute to team initiatives — better estimating, better templates, stronger onboarding.

o Make sure what was designed is what gets built.

Delivery

o Be the technical anchor for the implementation team. Unblock them. Keep the solution true to the design.

o Work with PMs on risk and scope. If quality is at stake, say so early.

o Run workshops and training sessions. You are the expert in the room.

Beyond the Project

o Engage in RFPs. Know how to position RFgen and articulate our value against alternatives.

o Be someone customers call when they have a problem, not just a project.

o Stay curious about RFID, RTLS, IoT. We are expanding into these areas and want people excited by that.

• Base salary: $110K-165k per year, depending on experience and location.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud SCM in supply chain, warehouse management, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle modules relevant to warehouse and supply chain operations:

       - Oracle EBS (WMS, INV, PO, OM)

       - Oracle Cloud SCM (Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing)

       - Familiarity with Oracle integration patterns — REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, database adapters

•  Strong understanding of architectural standards, software development methodologies, and modeling techniques.
•  Experience integrating with ERP systems via APIs, web services, database integration, or middleware.
•  Experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, inventory management, or government contracting   environments.
• Experience with Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and software development life cycles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven facilitation, influence, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop business/technical requirements and write technical specifications.
• Willingness to travel for product demonstrations, design sessions, trainings etc., typically less than 20%. 

Preferred Skills:

• Oracle certification in Inventory, Warehouse Management, or Supply Chain modules.
• Exposure to warehouse mobile applications and data collection platforms.
• Experience designing RFID, RTLS, or IoT-enabled tracking solutions.
• Experience with custom application development and integration projects.
• Experience with other ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or Deltek is a plus.
• Experience participating in RFP responses and presales solution.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations best practices in Oracle-driven environments.
