We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Mate / First-Class Pilot aboard our U.S.-flag self-unloading vessels. This is a key leadership role for experienced mariners who are committed to safe vessel operations, crew development, and operational excellence across one of the most respected fleets on the Great Lakes.

As a Mate / First-Class Pilot, you will serve as the senior deck officer and principal assistant to the Master, playing a critical role in the safe navigation, operation, and performance of the vessel. This position offers the opportunity to lead highly skilled crews, manage complex cargo operations, and contribute directly to the success of a fleet that supports industries throughout the Great Lakes region.

• TWIC Card - Transportation Worker Identification Credential 
• United States Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) issued by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) 
• Endorsement as Mate of Unlimited Tonnage upon the Great Lakes and Inland Waters (minimum) 
• First Class Pilot of Vessels of Unlimited Tonnage upon the Great Lakes between Duluth, Gary, Buffalo and Port Weller to Cape Vincent 
• Unexpired US Passport or Enhanced Driver's License and allowed entry into Canada 
• Legally authorized to work in the US, without restriction
