This position is responsible for the planning, tracking, execution and completion of Operations projects and initiatives. The Project manager will lead and coordinate the activities associated with the assigned projects from start to finish. This includes the budgeting process and tracking for all assigned projects. These projects will be determined through identification of opportunities from the various departments within the operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The planning of projects includes defining the scope and deliverables of the project.
- Ensuring all stake holders are being included and consulted during project.
- Managing tasks, assigning tasks and validating completion of tasks.
- Design a timeline for projects with feedback from internal and external resources.
- Budgeting process defined and adhered to during project. Overseeing budget and staying on track. Informing stakeholder and VP of Operations when course correcting is needed.
- ‘Stay the course” and drive positivity throughout process. Every “problem and issue” is an opportunity to learn and grow. Drive good vibes!
- Foster an environment of teamwork throughout the process.
- Identify team members strengths and assign members accordingly
- Constantly monitor process and implement corrective action where warranted.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership through emails and formal meetings.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Acting through the authority of the Maintenance Manager and VP of Operations, lead and own the completion and success of each project.
Qualifications
· Strong leadership, adaptability, and time-management skills
· Clear verbal and written communication abilities
· Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
· Experience of using project management tools (Gant Charts, CAD, etc.)
· Possess computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.).
· Ability to read, write and comprehend in English
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (PMP certification is a plus)
