Griffin Industries is seeking a reliable, part-time/on-call delivery driver to support our growing manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule who is comfortable being on-call and enjoys being on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a light vehicle (truck or van) to deliver materials to various locations, primarily within Wisconsin
• Load and unload materials
• Inspect and maintain vehicle condition (fuel, oil, tires, lights, etc.)
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
• Follow all traffic laws and company transportation procedures
• Perform minor emergency repairs when necessary (e.g., changing tires, replacing bulbs/fuses)
• Collect and return delivery paperwork and receipts daily
• Follow written and verbal directions to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Report any vehicle issues or mechanical concerns promptly

Qualifications:

• Valid Class D driver’s license with a good driving record
• Stable work history
• Previous driving experience throughout Wisconsin preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Forklift experience or certification preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable navigating routes and reading maps/GPS directions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable driving in larger cities and in all weather conditions
