The Opportunity

Pass Perfect, a CeriFi company, is looking for an engaging and knowledgeable Insurance Instructor to help prepare learners for success on their insurance licensing exams and continuing education requirements.

In this role, you’ll bring complex insurance concepts to life through engaging virtual instruction. You’ll teach insurance prelicensing and ethics continuing education courses, answer learner questions, and help students build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.

You’ll also stay current on changes in insurance regulations and laws and contribute to keeping our instructional materials accurate, relevant, and effective.

What You'll Own

Virtual Instruction & Learner Experience

• Facilitate engaging insurance prelicensing and ethics continuing education courses in a virtual classroom environment.
• Translate complex insurance concepts into clear, practical explanations that help learners understand and retain the material.
• Create an interactive learning environment that encourages participation, questions, and discussion.
• Come prepared for each class with a strong command of the curriculum and instructional materials.
• Adapt your teaching approach when needed to support different learner needs and levels of understanding.

Learner Support

• Answer learner questions during class and through designated support channels.
• Help learners navigate challenging concepts and reinforce key material as they prepare for licensing exams.
• Partner with other instructors and faculty members to provide consistent, accurate learner support.
• Provide thoughtful feedback that helps learners understand where they need additional preparation.

Content & Subject Matter Expertise

• Develop a strong working knowledge of Pass Perfect's insurance curriculum, including textbooks, learner handouts, online learning programs, question banks, and classroom presentations.
• Stay current on relevant insurance laws, regulations, and industry changes that may affect course content.
• Assist with updates to classroom presentations and other instructional materials as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve instructional content based on learner questions, classroom experience, and changes within the industry.

Faculty Collaboration

• Communicate teaching availability to the Faculty Manager on an ongoing basis to support course scheduling.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and internal teams to create a consistent, high-quality learning experience.
• Share learner feedback and instructional insights that can help strengthen our courses and materials.

• Excellent presentation and classroom facilitation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an approachable way.

• Confidence engaging and interacting with learners in a virtual classroom.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Comfort using Zoom and other virtual learning technology.
• Ability to prepare independently while collaborating effectively with other instructors and internal teams.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Experience teaching, training, facilitating, or presenting insurance-related material.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with a learning management system (LMS).
