Description

As a key contributor to the sales organization at GDS Link, you will build and lead a high-energy team of talented and creative individuals, focused on providing value-based software and credit risk solutions to a large portion of the Southeast Asia financial sector.  


The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build a territory plan that leverages internal marketing and self-directed efforts, perform thorough research on new prospect organizations, and consultatively engage and excite the optimal individuals within the prospect organization to identify, target and customize a suite of value-added GDS Link solutions that deliver significant ROI, ranging from highly configurable software solutions, to consultative and advanced analytics services.   


The primary driver of success for the candidate will be the successful generation of new sales opportunities that effectively close, creating new clients and revenue for GDS Link. Credit risk management will be a critical component of the value proposition sold, along with automated underwriting solutions, credit scorecarding and performance analytics, pricing and eligibility automation, data management, and loan process automation.  


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain and execute to a sales plan that will drive new clients and business to GDS that consistently meets or exceeds individual targets
  • Develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, trade shows, discovery, and individual research 
  • Lead effort to thoroughly understand the prospect organization, including workflow and process, needs, decision makers, reasons for change, and ideal opportunities for GDS Link
  • Build, demonstrate and negotiate value-based solutions for complex client requirements
  • Manage value proposition delivery, ROI development, proposals, and the negotiation process
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Lead Development teams on campaigns, qualified leads and leveraging content to reinforce solution value in the sales process
  • Set and manage proper prospect expectations, and effectively coordinate with and involve Sales Engineers, account management and other internal teams throughout the sales process
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline according to best practices within the salesforce CRM, including communications, contacts, staging, etc.  
  • Actively contribute and self-report in regular individual and team sales meetings 
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of successful financial software related sales experience, including selling to new accounts with annual contract values of USD 40k+
  • Sales experience with credit risk management or underwriting process automation software strongly preferred 
  • Proven ability to build rapport, communicate and motivate individuals in C-Level and other strategic roles at mid and large-size banks, specialty lenders and other financial institutions  
  • Experience utilizing technical and analytical skills to create, promote and sell solutions to prospects that include financial analysis, ROI’s, scoping documents, timelines, etc.
  • Ability to build and proactively execute a sales plan by leveraging existing relationships, and by prospecting new opportunities.
  • Detailed ability to articulate GDS Link’s solutions and services, including functionality, key benefits, differentiators, etc. 
  • Expert negotiation, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, and regardless of advance planning
  • Must be a self-starting entrepreneur who can manage time well and prioritize
  • A keen interest and ability to quickly learn and solve complex business problems
  • History of successfully working with RFP’s within the sales process
  • Travel up to 25% for strategic industry events and prospect engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Finance, or related study strongly preferred)
