WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN IMAGINATIVE, CREATIVE, AND RESOURCEFUL PERSON WHO CAN TAKE A HANDS ON APPROACH IN A VERY FAST PACED, SCENIC AND PROP SHOP. WE CURRENTLY HAVE A POSITION AVAILABLE FOR A DYNAMIC, SELF SUFFICIENT FIBERGLASS FABRICATOR.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Any Fiberglass fabrication experience (Scenic, Auto, Boat, Sculpture, other)
• Ability to select proper Fiberglass material and resin for the job
• Ability to mix resins and catalysts for use in mold production
• Ability to mix resigns and catalysts for use in part production
• Ability to use waxes, release agents, clay and other related materials
• Experience using rollers, squeegees and other hand tools for fiberglass fabrication
• An ideal candidate has experience using chopper systems and applying resins into prepared molds using pneumatic spray guns
• Experience in vacuum bagging, or setting up a mold for vacuum of fiberglass parts is a bonus, but not required
• Experience using bondo, bondo glass, lightweight epoxies and other finishing systems
• Experience using various hand and power tools to build framing, install mold hardware, trim excess material, etc.
• Reliable transportation
