Description

The Business Development Executive (BDE) is an integral part of the Superior Support Resources, Inc. (SSR) team and is responsible for building and growing all aspects of the new client relationship with SSR. BDEs work closely with all customer-facing departments within SSR to ensure that each client receives the highest standards of service.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Develop and secure new client opportunities

• Actively target key prospects to understand their business needs and align SSR services/solutions to meet those needs

• Network with industry specific associations and vendors

• Customer advocate to ensure that all departments understand client requirements and respond with the right quality of service

• Resolve problems and handle complaints in a timely manner

• Improve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) based on client’s perception of SSR total service delivery (Sales, Accounting, and Production)

• Act as a consultant and establish account goals in the form of projects, programs and services – this should be done through the Business Technology Alignment Process for the client with a recurring engagement greater than once a month

• Stay up-to-date with technology trends and resources

• Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience

• Work with AE to guide the process of moving the prospect through the sales cycle and ultimately winning the business.

• This position is supported by the inside sales team


Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Development Executive, or in other sales role

• Background in technology sales

• Strong local area industry knowledge and network

• Knowledge of sales and negotiating principles

• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

• Organizational and time-management skills

• Strong business acumen

• Enthusiastic, positive and passionate about technology and client service

• Consulting experience

• Must be extremely detail-oriented and have a high level sense of urgency

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or marketing
