Oversees wellness and safety of campers and staff.
Manage health center operations and medical records.
Dispense medication to campers and staff as needed according to directions.
Provide first aid injury treatment.
Reports any injuries or illnesses of campers or staff to Camp Director.
Participates in pre-camp training.
Model behaviors and practices to promote the health and safety of all campers and staff.
Maintains health records, certificates, treatment records, medication logs, and other health information in organized, up to date and confidential manner.
License as RN, LPN, or EMT certification required.
Minimum age 21 preferred. (as of May 27, 2019)
Exceptional organizational skills needed.
Must hold current Girl Scout adult volunteer membership while employed with GSGMS. (may be purchased upon hire)
Must submit to criminal background check.
Must be available to work at either or both Camp Wahi and Camp Iti Kana.
May be required to drive council vehicle therefore maintain appropriate drivers license.
