This experienced Senior Database Architect will inherit our existing platform and help us take it to the next level. As a professional that thrives on building databases and surfacing invaluable information from structured and unstructured data, you will help build a platform that will support thousands of medical practices and tens of thousands of doctors and other first-responders.
Role and Responsibilities
We are in search of a detailed, razor-sharp Senior Database Architect to help our team design and implement a complex data environment covering transactional and unstructured data repositories leading to a robust data lake that will help us to derive actionable intelligence from a robust, enterprise-level digital platform for Occupational Medicine health clinics.
You are a whiz at building and maintaining transactional databases that surface valuable reports for managers. You understand the value or gathering and organizing unstructured data and converting it into actionable data, integrating information and workflows into results. You are an expert integrating independent systems and uncovering insights that would otherwise never be found. You have mastered a mix of database technologies, ETL/Integration and Machine Learning/AI tools. Your vocabulary includes MySQL, MS SQL Server, DataBricks, NoSQL, RDS, Azure SQL, DynamoDB, Python, Talend, RedShift, SSIS, AWS DataSpider, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory and data formats such as JSON, EDI x12 and Parquet. You work well with technologists and internal business customers alike and pride yourself in organizing data into meaningful information.
You have an enterprising spirit and willingly take ownership of the full gamut of technical tasks and challenges and leverage your detail-oriented love of technology to ensure our properties function as intended across multiple devices.
You are someone who has a strong desire to learn a multitude of bleeding-edge technologies and data languages with a can-do attitude and a highly collaborative nature.

This position requires a hands-on, senior-level database engineer with a focus on design, implementation, and maintenance of complex data environments. This person will report to our Chief Information Officer and will work closely with the Product Manager and Full Stack Architect to advance our software development needs.
