POSITION SUMMARY
The Conferencing Summer Seasonal Worker assists the Events and Hospitality Logistics Coordinator in preparing the campus to receive and host guests during their stay on campus for events, camps, and conferences. Preparations include tasks such as:
• cleaning dorm rooms, common spaces, restrooms, etc.
• making beds, folding towels, placing hospitality items, etc.
• operating the front desk which entails answering guest questions and accommodating their needs
• meeting the various hospitality needs of guests across campus as directed by the Events and Hospitality Logistics Coordinator
The Conferencing Summer Seasonal Worker must be able to anticipate needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision. Must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, be able to multitask, think creatively, and troubleshoot problems.
