The Associate Scientist performs a variety of laboratory research and administrative tasks determined by the field and scope of the particular research study. The Associate Scientist will perform tasks related to the research project independently, but within specific guidelines and subject to review by supervisor or other senior laboratory staff. The Scientist is responsible for conducting in vitro experiments in order to produce reliable and precise data to support the scientific investigation of vaccine immunogenicity and therapeutic efficacy. The Associate Scientist should be familiar with the SOPs relating to the laboratory for which they are responsible including for laboratory maintenance and routine tasks as needed. The candidate must have experience in laboratory techniques that are supportive of pre-clinical in vivo study plans. The Associate Scientist will report to the Translational Science Director.
