The Crisis Services Team provides trauma informed, solution-focused, crisis intervention, information,
and referral and other related services to runaway, homeless and at-risk youth and their families via a
crisis hotline and across digital communication platforms (live chat, email and forum postings). The Crisis
Services Supervisor (CSS) reports to the Director of Crisis Services (DCS) and provides on-shift support
within the crisis services center for interns and volunteers with a strong focus on monitoring quality
assurance and implementing standards of quality improvement for NRS’ services. All crisis services team
members complete a 40+ hour intensive crisis intervention training prior to handling crisis contacts.
Full-time and part-time positions may be available. Positions are based in Chicago and will be temporarily
remote during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Shifts vary and may include evening and weekend hours.

Beginning salary range for full-time: $30-35,000/year with benefits. The part-time position is $17-18 an hour for
overnight shifts and $15-16 for daytime shifts.
