Trace is a fast growing distributed company that creates time-compressed video of youth sports. Our ground-breaking technology automatically films and edits video into highlights for every player on the field. Our mission is to help players, parents, and coaches to review their athletic performance, and to preserve moments and memories that are important to them. We create a customized experience that is tailored to each athlete. Our apps have become integral to the lives of hundreds of thousands of passionate athletes all over the world, from National teams to kids just starting out their athletic journey. This is an opportunity for you to be an early member of an integral team at a rapidly growing company.
Trace is at a tipping point now. We have soccer clubs across every state using our product week after week, and we drive extraordinary value through our transformative AI technology. We’ve built a product and service that is loved by hundreds of thousands of soccer coaches, players, and families. We are looking to expand our Math Team (yes we have a Math Team!) to continue this momentum as we expand into other sports.
As an Algorithm Developer, you will join our small Math Team to enhance our AI technology. You’ll use techniques from machine learning, computer vision, and signal processing to analyze sensor and video data in youth sports. You’ll be exploring novel and existing solutions to a wide variety of challenges in order to transform raw data into personalized video moments in our apps. We are often solving problems that no one has solved before, using real-world data. We’re looking for drive and a sense of fun as we work towards removing friction from youth sports video!
