Effectively uses sales strategies and negotiation to meet event sales goals and objectives. Responsible for seeking new and ensuring return business. Oversees planning and execution of events. Ensures customer satisfaction while maximizing facility revenue and profitability.
- Maximizes event revenues to include banquet food, beverage, and facility rental.
- Creates and implements lead generation strategies by identifying and pursuing target markets as well as monitoring club and community demographics.
- Utilizes contact database daily to build and maintain prospects and track leads.
- Conducts tours and meetings to showcase facilities with perspective clients.
- Solicits and processes client information in a timely manner to ensure Banquet Event Orders are distributed to all outlets in a timely manner.
- Takes ownership of the guest relationship and delivery experience; ensuring expectations are exceeded.
- Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses.
- Ensures proper management of all banquet events, including, but not limited to: sales, marketing, planning, merchandising, servicing, and corresponding administrative procedures.
- Works with Food & Beverage department to develop banquet menus, pricing and revenue minimums.
- Assists in managing banquet staff.
- Ensures accurate and timely invoicing for all services rendered.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
