Requirements

The role. 


We are currently seeking a Supervisor to oversee store operations and fulfill the production and assembly of Churn Soft Serve & Coffee/lloyd pastry product- Ice Cream Sandwiches & Novelty products. This position will be responsible for using their experience and creativity to master and execute the production needs of lloyd Products, Inc. This will be done by working closely with members of management to ensure orders are planned and fulfilled timely. You will also be instrumental in assisting with mastering and expanding the retail efforts of lloyd Products, Inc.

Qualified candidates should have a love for food service! A background or equivalent experience and/or training and experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry is a bonus. Experience with culinary management and supervising a team of 3 or more crew members is preferred. Must have flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required for operational needs.

They know the ins and outs of their place of business and are constantly aware of the goings on within the restaurant and dining room.  They possess the ability to lead the team, effectively prioritize, boost morale, manage their resources, and problem solve while encouraging our guests to enjoy their time at Churn.


What You Will DO!

The following are the desired outcomes of the Churn Supervisor:

  • Provide direction and leadership to the restaurant team day-to-day to ensure  successful operations.
  • Leading by example and by being a role model of the standards and behaviors consistent with the lloyd/Churn core values and culture.
  • Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets. 
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards. 
  • Proper intercompany communication utilizing Basecamp, email, 7Shifts, shift logs and any other forms used. 
  • To ensure every customer receives the best possible food and service experience.
  • To provide functional expertise and assist with existing Churn restaurant operations as needed.
  • To provide new hire training and share the lloyd and Churn story.
  • To be continually present and available to Churn employees if and when they need assistance and direction.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Supervise or coordinate activities of line workers engaged in food preparation when Churn manager is not available.
  • Provide functional expertise to assist training of all subordinate staff.
  • Work to ensure ticket times are as low as possible, including providing guidance, motivation and delegation to line team members.
  • Check the quality of raw or cooked food to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
  • Advocate and promote sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of all areas of operation (ServSafe Certified).
  • Checking the quantity and quality of received products.
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
  • Take proper action on equipment & building repairs as needed.
  • Supervise activities of shift staff taking proper disciplinary action if needed.
  • Resolve any guest complaints concerning food and beverage quality as well as service when you are the ranking leader onsite.
  • Coordinate breaks per shift, hold pre shift meetings for each shift to let the crew know of changes, specials and general lloyd news.
  • Maintaining food presentation and consistency as dictated in Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned, including assuming responsibilities of direct reports when necessary

Salary Description
$18-$21 per hour
