Guest Relations Teammate
Description

The Guest Relations staff member possesses excellent customer service skills to develop relationships with guests and prospects that lead to happy and satisfied gym members. Our ideal candidate understands our company, products, and services, including general fitness, exercise equipment and wellness programs, along with the ability to prospect leads through phone calls, walk-ins, and member referrals. Additionally, the Guest Relations staff member will sell personal training, lead guest tours, and monitor club cleanliness and atmosphere.

GUEST SATISFACTION

  • Ensuring an exceptional guest experience at all levels and maintain high level of member satisfaction. 
  • Perform daily club inspections, complete assigned cleaning sections.
  • Encourage members to give feedback, QR code at front desk.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Effectively sell, upsell, and cross-promote all membership, service and product options.
  • Maintain a clean, presentable and welcoming environment, ensuring our facility is stage ready for our guests.
  • Adhere to the company's policies and guidelines and address any issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and consistency in all CRM software transactions.
  • Effectively communicate to prospects, members and guests.
  • Perform minimum number of calls a day and maintain notes and logs in lead generation software.
  • Schedule a minimum of five guest tours per day.
  • Participate in daily huddles and coaching activities with Senior Team Lead and/or General Manager
  • Knowledgeable of all marketing promotions and strive to achieve individual and team goals
  • Effectively communicate any updates, promotions, information, etc. to guests and members
  • Accurately perform sales, scheduling and other transactions through the CRM and lead generation software systems.
  • Assist all member and guests with inquiries relating to memberships, appointments and other guest experience related topics.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • Must be a passionate team player.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Google Suite and database applications, specifically CRM software systems and lead generation systems.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to complete assignments and responsibilities accurately and in a timely manner, often with strict and/or conflicting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
  • Must have exceptional strong customer service experience and skills.

Physical:

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, if needed.
  • Must frequently lift 25 pounds or more.
  • Must be able to be on feet for at least eight hours per day, if needed.
