Reporting to the Project Controller, responsible for developing, monitoring and analyzing budget and actual costs for new construction projects, including estimate refinements prepared internally and/or with outside estimating firms. Will take the lead on providing financial support to the Pre-Operations efforts (including Marketing and Merchandising).
Working with the Blue-Sky team, develop budgets and means for tracking costs on those efforts that have potential to become construction projects. Assist with the implementation of the financial and cost management system (Business Central) for all projects, work closely with program management and purchasing organization and review scope and payment terms for all contracts relating to the projects. Working with the Project Controller, develop a comprehensive database from past projects to assist in the improvement of the accuracy of project budgeting on all projects. Individual must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Work closely with project/program managers and purchasing to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling, and coordination processes run smoothly. They monitor the progress of a project to ensure that it is working within the confines of set deadlines and budget limitations and generate progress reports to managers. Senior Project Accountant also make suggestions for improvements to project operations as needed.
Senior Project Accountant reports to Project Controller with support of program managers and other upper-management personnel involved projects.
Senior Project Accountant continually monitor and evaluate each step of a project to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline goals. They shall develop a recurring status report to corporate controller, project managers and executive team to discuss the progress of each project and talk about staffing needs, schedule changes, project scope adjustments and more
Senior Project Accountant are responsible for creating and maintaining reports addressing all aspects of project development and completion.

This job operates in a professional office environment inside a larger studio environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and scanners. The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols.
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
This position will require supervisory responsibility.
Minimum travel is required for this position.
