 Salary: $24 - $27.58/Hr

Join our Engineering team at the Mountain Lodge Telluride.  We are offering full and part time year round positions for the Engineering Team, knowledge helpful, but will train the right person, great pay and great benefits. We offer a ski pass/end of season bonus, a sign on bonus and referral bonus for each new person you refer that joins the team.


Requirements

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned. Management also reserves the right to change or modify position descriptions from time-to-time to meet the needs of the business with or without notice).

  • Resolve guests’ maintenance problems and handle all guest requests
  • Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks in all guest rooms and other resort areas (i.e., change filters, replace light bulbs, repair drapery tracks, repair closet tracks, change remote control batteries, ensure proper working order of tub stoppers, etc.) 
  • Identify problems that cannot be readily repaired in guest rooms and write work orders for those problems
  • Complete work orders from the housekeeping department in a timely fashion
  • Perform swimming pool chemical tests and make necessary corrections, with training
  • Basic knowledge of EMS and lifesaving systems, with training
  • Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
  • Accurately complete daily rounds sheets and identify and report major problems as needed
  • Perform regularly scheduled van maintenance checks
  • Perform regular vacuum cleaner checks
  • Provide guest services in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Solve problems courteously and efficiently and alert the appropriate supervisor for follow through if necessary
  • Keep the office/shop area clean and neat at all times, monitor all work areas for safety and sanitation
  • Employ safe lifting techniques
  • Correct any dangerous situation that may present itself. Initiate action and follow through until situation is resolved
  • Upon observation of any unusual activity, report immediately thereon to the General Manager
  • Have a working knowledge of the Engineering training manuals
  • Practice ladder safety at all times
