Haymarket Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist. 


This position is responsible for providing alcohol, drug and mental health evidence-based treatments to adults, including those with co-occurring disorders. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, on-going individual and group therapy, case management, brief intervention and related documentation. This position works collaboratively with other providers daily. Duties will include:

  • Perform assessments to evaluate Mental Health & Substance Use Disorders;
  • Provide ongoing individual and group mental health and co-occurring disorders counseling in alignment with evidence based practices and clinical models.
  • Provide psycho-educational/didactic groups educating patients about various aspects of mental health and recovery;
  • Formulate and implement individualized, patient centered plans and provide appropriate interventions based on diagnostic impression and level of functioning;
  • Maintain progress notes and documentation required for the EHR;
  • Participate in trainings and ongoing staff development activities to include clinical supervision and staff meetings;
  • Seek supervision as appropriate and provide feedback on clinical and diagnostic matters to management staff;
  • Complete required reporting of funding sources, government agencies and internal Haymarket Center required reporting within established timeframes and protocols;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. 
Requirements
  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or another behavioral health related field with unrestricted licensure (LPC, LCPC, LSW LCSW); CADC preferred in addiction. 
  • Two (2) years combined experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders preferred;
  • Knowledge of Mental health counseling and evidence based group and individual interventions;
  • Ability to manage stress and crisis situations;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary Description
$55,000 - $65,000
