BlueWave has an immediate opening for a Site Acquisition Analyst on the Project Development team reporting to the Project Development Manager. As Site Acquisition Analyst, you will assist with the analysis and acquisition of new PV development opportunities, and otherwise support the development strategy of our PV portfolio. The Site Acquisition Analyst will primarily work on projects in Massachusetts with the potential for some exposure to other markets in the United States and overseas. 


We Seek someone that possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong independence producing research analysis in the workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage relationships with landowners and facilitate the negotiation of business terms for prospective PV development opportunities both via email/phone and in-person;
  • Draft site plan designs in AutoCAD for PV development opportunities;
  • Conduct fatal flaw on-site assessments of prospective PV development opportunities;
  • Manage pipeline of PV development prospects in BlueWave’s CRM platform: Salesforce;
  • Perform data analytics of historical site origination efforts and utility interconnection information to refine site origination strategies;
  • Manage relationships and QC work product with partner engineers and consultants;
  • Other duties for which the candidate is qualified.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or related field
  • Experience using AutoCAD 2D in a professional environment
  • 1 – 3 years previous experience working in a related discipline (architecture, engineering, real estate development or investment, urban planning or renewable energy project development)
  • Valid Driver’s License.
