The Human Resource Generalist performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: recruiting, benefit, internship program, and HR Initiatives. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization.
The generalist must be sensitive to corporate needs, and highly confidential information.
- Maintains compliance with all HR laws, such as OSHA reports, 1095’s, EEO - Administers RP3 Human Resource policies and procedures throughout the agency; assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Handles all administrative tasks for onboarding and off-boarding, HRIS onboarding system, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HRIS, management of onboarding and exiting paperwork, and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Manages the recruiting process from beginning to end. This includes but is not limited to preparing and posting job postings, reviewing resumes and screening
applicants, arranging interviews, maintaining an applicant tracking system, and set up a pre-employment screening. Monitors employee referral program. Ensures accurate documentation associated with AAP. Exercises judgment in the selection of qualified candidates and presentation to hiring managers manages offer letters and extending offers.
- Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
