Out Teach is a national teacher-development nonprofit working to ensure that all students, no matter their resources, have access to an engaging, hands-on education that transforms their lives. We do this by equipping teachers with the power of experiential learning outdoors to unlock student performance. Our goal is to improve science education for elementary students.
Out Teach is seeking a dynamic Systems Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with excellent communication skills and additional experience in a startup environment. The role is responsible for day-to-day systems operations to include the upkeep, configuration of Salesforce, and management of external IT vendor ensuring reliable technology and security. They will be responsible for ensuring the performance, resources, and security of the systems they manage, as well as meet the needs all users. The Systems Administrator will also act as a liaison between external IT consultants and Out Teach staff to ensure all applications meet their needs and stays current with all operations and policies.
In addition, the Systems Administrator will be in charge of leading Out Teach’s organization-wide transition to Salesforce. This will include collaborating with outside vendors to ensure the implementation matches the needs of the organization’s revenue and programmatic teams.
The position will work directly with the organization’s Vice Presidents and assist with program and partnership staff at all levels. The home office of the position will be located in Washington DC, Dallas, TX, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.
