Experience Guide, The Seminole Experience

Location: Florida State University/ Tallahassee, FL

The Seminole Experience is looking for passionate and hospitable persons to join our team of Experience Guides. Experience Guides will take guests through the culture and history of the Florida State Athletic Facilities through storytelling with passion, pride and enthusiasm all while and contributing to a first-class tour experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:

• Provide a seamless, world-class experience for tour guests, while demonstrating continuous positive and professional attitude and to interact with all levels of staff and guests

• Proven comfort level speaking in front of groups ranging between 20-25 people including use of a microphone when needed

• Memorize talking points and historical facts that will bring to life the culture and history of Florida State

• Professionally manage last minute tour route changes and guest issues with support of Management team

• Represent the Seminole Experience and Florida State Athletics with the highest standard and minimal supervision

• Support additional Seminole Experience events as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate will possess abilities including, but not limited to, the following:

• Ability to work flexible hours to include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays 
• Ability to move around the facility (including but not limited to stairs, ramps, etc.) for extended periods of time and standing for extended periods of time during events
• Ability to lift 20lbs+ if required. 
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions; including but not limited to extreme heat, cold and rain.
• Must have drivers' license, social card or passport

Position Status: Part Time 

Hourly Pay Rate: $11.00
