General Summary:

South Central Family Health Center has an exciting opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner has direct care experience working in psychiatric setting or crisis stabilization unit, serving SMI, SED, and Co-Occurring Disorders (COD) populations. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner sees patients independently and utilizes the full scope of their license.


Minimum Qualifications: 

Masters or Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing school. PMHNP Board Certification (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner). Possession of a current, valid California Registered Nurse License and Furnishing Number or Physician Assistant License. DEA Registration, NPI number, Current BLS/ALCS certificate Ongoing clearance with the California State Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, allowing for direct contact with clients in licensed programs. Carries out and follows all SCFHC procedures
