JOB TITLE: Part-Time Payroll Coordinator
WORK STATUS: Only part-time (20 hrs/wk) is needed at this time. Due to the sensitive nature of the information required to complete the job, this position is required to perform work onsite. Clarity is taking all necessary steps to require the safety of all onsite staff.
REQUIREMENT: Must be proficient in Paylocity payroll processes.

We are searching for a motivated Payroll Manager who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. With minimal supervision and substantial latitude for independent judgement and discretion, the Payroll Manager position will be responsible for Biweekly Payroll processing, recording transactions, and State Tax filings. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good knowledge of Paylocity our payroll software.
REPORTING STRUCTURE & WORK SETTING
This position typically resides at the Company headquarters and reports to the Director of Accounting. The nature of the work entails that candidate significantly collaborate and work closely with other team members and includes cross-functional departments as well as clients. At times, candidates may also receive direction from more senior management staff.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Payroll - candidates will need to have a minimum of three to five years’ experience processing Paylocity Payroll. Candidate will also need to have knowledge of payroll functions including preparing, balancing, internal controls, and multi-state payroll taxes.
Accounting – candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years in a professional environment with financial responsibility. Must possessive a strong understanding of and experience with accounting and finance procedures and concepts. This includes journal entries, general ledger analysis, financial statement analysis, bank reconciliations with multiple, linked, bank accounts.
Interpersonal skills –ability to interact with a wide array of supervisors and vendors and work well within a team environment. Successful candidates will know how to communicate their ideas in a polite and professional manner.
Client Relationship – individuals in this role regularly reach out to internal and external clients to resolve issues. This requires strong customer service and diplomacy skills, as well as, and phone/email etiquette.
Attention to detail –inputting large amounts of data requires an eye for detail. Applicants should be capable of handling and storing customer and financial information using a variety of tools including Excel.
Multitasking – Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously within given deadlines in this fast-paced office environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 4-year Accounting/Finance Degree
Work or Related Experience
