The Post-Secondary Success Advisor will be responsible for a caseload of current and returning scholars. This role will be responsible for supporting scholars as they go through their college years and experience a variety of challenges such as;
This role will be responsible for providing focused, intentional, cross-disciplinary academic interventions, such as one-on-one check-ins, college success events, and providing academic resources. The Post-Secondary Success Advisor will serve as an expert voice in enriching all aspects of the scholar’s experience by making data-informed decisions that impact program and student success. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the successful post-secondary graduation of its scholars.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities for College Counselor Applicants:
Education and/or Experience:
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum of two years experience working within in the areas of Student Affairs, Recruitment, Advising, or Student Success. Knowledge and experience in student transition from secondary to post-secondary is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A current Nevada state Driver’s License, current automobile registration, and current automobile insurance coverage.
