Night Shift - Sunday - Thursday 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM. (Occasional Friday Night as needed)

We are hiring for Handlers, Setup and Operators for both Day and Night shifts.
Night Shift New Hires are eligible for $500* sign-on bonus during this promotion.

Payout Schedule is based on length of employment:
$150* after 30 days
$150* after 90 days
$ 200* after 6 months

SUMMARY

Sets up overarm to appropriate size and sets up plates on rewinder. Hangs coil on uncoiler. Unloads coil on conveyor line and unloads scrap. Assists operator in maximizing productivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Reads and understands job ticket.* Loads coil on uncoiler.

* Unloads scrap.

* Unloads cuts from uncoiler to turnstile* Basic math skills.

* Set up overarm. (except oscillators)

* Cuts bands.

* Basic house keeping.

* Coordinate necessary material for job.

* Prepare finished coils for packaging

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

GED/High School diploma

No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Crane certification provided by company.
