This paralegal position prepares and reviews draft documents for attorney review and finalization, performs record searches, e-filing and recordings, UCC searches, orders title searches, reviews title commitments and surveys, prepares closing statements, checklists and critical date schedules, etc. as related to loan closings, including SBA and other government guaranteed loan programs, purchase and sale of commercial property and assist with closings and other services related to the support of attorneys in the execution of their client needs. Clients may be individuals, financial institutions, real estate developers or any other entity involved in real estate transactions.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Education and Experience
1. Paralegal certification and Florida Registered Paralegal is preferred.
2. A minimum of one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
