Job Description:

The Maintenance manager will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, installation, and improvement of the facility. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Monitor and  control replacement parts utilization for all facilities and process equipment. Maintain spare parts inventory, where appropriate, to ensure continued site function. 
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and facility failures, including those involving ladder logic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, and controls. 
  • Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls to assess and carefully resolve any issues. 
  • Troubleshoot expertise and the ability to teach, train, assist, monitor, and encourage the maintenance team. 
  • Ensure all Preventative Maintenance schedules are up to date and complete. 
  • Assist maintenance staff in diagnosing the nature of specific problems involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. 
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG), and Gas Tungsten Arc Gas Welding (GTAW/TIG*). 
  • Responsible  for tracking expenditures and labor costs to ensure compliance with plant  and department budgets.
  • Maintains safe  working conditions and practices within the plant as established by OSHA  guidelines and PreZero.
  • Support maintenance team as needed based on a 24/7 production schedule.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Two year degree or technical certification
  • PLC Coding Experience 
  • Knowledge on CMMS programs 
  • 3-5 Years experience in plastics compounding industries 


  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A good "hands on" working approach
  • Reliable team player
  • Able to problem solve and analyze tasks assigned

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. · Must be able to lift, bend, open, move product up to 35 lbs. · Must be able to sit, walk, and stand for at least 1-hour intervals.
