The Sales and Marketing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales and marketing data. They will evaluate sales performance, identify potential and lost opportunities, discover and research trends, and communicate finding across the organization. 

  • Provide timely data analysis for forecasting, pipeline management, and executive dashboards using both scheduled and ad hoc reports for both sales and senior leadership teams.
  • Participate in meetings and presentations to understand the goals of the sales team, capture relevant data needed by senior leadership, and make value-add recommendations related to enhancing sales productivity.
  • Maintain weekly sales reporting and provide analysis against Plan, Forecast, and Quota where appropriate
  • Identify trends in weekly sales activity and results, to provide actionable commentary to sales leadership
  • Provide support to various levels in the organization with sales metrics
  • Report on industry data assessing current business conditions and provide commentary on how this might influence our forecasts
  • Offer suggestions on how to streamline reporting to ensure reporting needs are met and not duplicated
  • Collaborate with other Sales Operations to ensure policies, procedures, and systems are aligned
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define appropriate KPIs and benchmarks for sales team
  • Transform data and analysis into easily digestible key knowledge points
  • Perform ad hoc analyses


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 - 5 years in Sales Operations, Finance or Marketing
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communications skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Power Point
  • Experience analyzing complex data sets
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred
  • Comfortable presenting to all levels of seniority within a company

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, which includes the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • This position is performed in an office setting although off-site meetings in various settings occur.
  • The schedule is generally normal business hours although there is a requirement to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings.
  • Some travel by personal automobile and a valid drivers’ license is required.  Occasional overnight travel is required.
  • Lift light objects [less than 20 pounds] and carry them short distances [20 feet or less].
