Job Title: PRN Hospital  Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a PRN (as needed) employee in staffing department. As a PRN Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients

- Accurately and efficiently fill medication orders

- Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies

- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations

- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program

- Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed

- IV certified

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting

- Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and software
